Today, on Snag Films I watched Churning the Sea of Time. Churning the Sea of Time is an hour-long documentary chronicling director Les Guthman's journey up the Mekong Delta through Vietnam and into Cambodia. The history and culture of the region is explained as Guthman advances up the Mekong toward Angkor.
The film is embedded below.
Applications for Education
If you teach any lessons about Vietnam and or Cambodia, this film could be an excellent supplement to those lessons. If you do choose to show this film to your students you may also want to explore National Geographic's interactive animations of Angkor.
